Privacy Policy

Cue ("we", "our", or "us") is an AI agent for macOS developed by Sophon LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. What We Collect

We collect the minimum information necessary to operate the service:

• Email address — when you redeem an invite code or join the waitlist, we store your email to manage access.
• Invite code activity — we record which invite codes have been redeemed and by whom, to power the referral system.
• Usage metadata — anonymized counts of agent requests and feature usage, used only to improve the product.

We do not collect your name, payment information, or any other personal data during the beta.

2. What Stays on Your Device

The following data never leaves your Mac:

• Interaction history — all past agent sessions are stored locally in ~/.cue/history/ and are never uploaded.
• Screenshots — screenshots captured during agent mode are processed momentarily for context and are not stored on our servers.
• Selected text and clipboard content — used only in the moment to fulfill your request, never logged remotely.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To grant access to the Cue beta and manage your invite codes.
• To send you important updates about the product (no marketing without consent).
• To understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the product.

4. Third-Party Services

Cue uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Anthropic API — your voice commands and screen context are sent to Anthropic's Claude models to generate responses. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
• Deepgram — real-time speech-to-text transcription. Audio is processed and discarded; not stored by Deepgram for training without consent.
• Cloudflare — infrastructure and CDN. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any advertising trackers.

5. Data Retention

We retain your email address and invite code activity for the duration of the beta program. You may request deletion at any time by emailing us.

6. Your Rights

You may at any time:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your data.
• Withdraw consent for email communications.

7. Children

Cue is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. If changes are significant, we will notify you via email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
